Joe Ray’s Roofing was started in 1963 in Chapel Hill North Carolina by Joe and his wife Nancy. In that time they’ve grown with the region and serve many of the surround areas.

However, while many smaller roofing companies have either grown into impersonal Goliath’s or been crowded out of a competitive field, Joe Ray’s has found a middle path. We’ve manage to stay a true small business, while continuing to provide top notch, personal, and cost-competitive service.

Unlike many of our smaller and similar sized competitors we are fully insured and licensed. We recommend that no matter who you choose for your roofing needs that they be as well. Uninsured work leaves homeowners highly exposed to worker injury lawsuits, and often left without any recourse in the event of property damage. In addition we are proud to have achieved an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau.

As long time residents of the area, we understand the unique summer through winter needs of area roofs, and are experts in their proper maintenance and installation.
